Le Département de Seine-Maritime, est 1er financeur de l’Armada 2008, avec 1,13 millions d’Euros. Mais entre le département de Seine-Maritime et l’Armada, c’est plus qu’une histoire d’argent. La preuve avec les nombreuses animations que le Département organise pour vous sur le site de l’Armada.
La plus visible, c’est la grande roue du Département de Seine-Maritime. Elle offrira un point de vue inédit sur l’Armada. Située rive gauche, à mi-distance entre le pont Guillaume Le Conquérant et le pont Gustave Flaubert, elle permettra de s’envoler en plein ciel pour voir les bateaux comme vous ne les avez jamais vu. L’accès est gratuit tous les jours de 10h30 à 23h00. Tickets d’embarquement à retirer sur le stand du Département de Seine-Maritime.
Durant l’Armada, le Département de Seine-Maritime occupera un espace d’accueil de 600m², Quai de Bois-Guilbert, rive droite, au pied du
pont Guillaume Le Conquérant. Vous y trouverez les 38 offices de tourisme de Seine-Maritime. Chaque jour, 9 offices de tourisme représenteront à la fois les villes, la campagne et le littoral seinomarin. 38 films sur le territoire seront présentés en boucle chaque jour. Pour mieux vous faire connaître la Seine-Maritime sous toutes ses facettes.
Et vous pourrez tester vos connaissances : le grand jeu « Quizz de l’Armada » fonctionne sur le principe d’une roue de la fortune dont les différents segments font références à des questions sur le thème du nautisme. Serez-vous à la hauteur du défi ?
Chaque soir, vous pouvez en outre assister à un concert gratuit sur le stand Département. Plusieurs groupes locaux sont programmés : Cole Quartet, Choeurs d’Hommes, Groovin’Jazz, Eou Doue Duo, An Las (9.10), Allons-y tant qu’c’est chaud, Trio La Cueva, Victoria, Latche Swing. C’est tous les soirs de 21h30 à 23h sur le stand du Département de Seine-Maritime.

La grande roue on l’a testé hier - vues panoramiques sur le port, le sixième pont, les bateaux bien sur, et vers la scène d’en face (en attendant Bashung ce soir). Seul souci, l’espace prévu pour le public pendant ces concerts, surtout quand il y a des artistes comme Cali, Iggy Pop etc. semble largement insuffisant. Le public finira-t-il dans la Seine ?
Hier soir, je suis tombé sur une émission de télé qui parlait de Brest 2008 !!!
Je suis resté deux minutes, le temps d’entendre que leur événement était le meilleur en France et, surtout, que ce n’était pas qu’une présentation de bateau restant à quai tel un musé
J’ai bien l’impression de L’armada ROUEN 2008 était visée. Je ne sais pas si quelqu’un a vu l’émission dans sa totalité. Si oui pourra t-il (ou elle) nous en dire plus ?

Une précision, l’association qui supervise l’Armada ne fonctionne “financièrement” que grâce aux subventions des collectivtés locales et le sponsoring des entreprises, en effet.
Pour “le reste” (à savoir l’essentiel, l’organisation préalable et le déroulement de l’Armada), il y a le noyau de permanents employés par l’association et la cohorte de bénévoles qui donnent gratuitement de leur temps pour que la fête soit réussie.
À quoi servent ces subventions ? Doit-on payer les bateaux ? Nourrir les équipages ? En fait, on ne sait pas grand chose de tout ça…
