Le viaduc SNCF d’Oissel, construit en 1893 aura résisté aux bombes mais pas à la modernisation. Une destruction spectaculaire à voir sur le blog Oissel en photo.

Quoi, il n’y a pas un Gustave Flaubert, , un pape, deux Menguy et trois MorinDesailly pour s’élever contre ça? Dès que ça a les fesses dans la mer ça ne moufte plus.

Il y a bien eu une demande de classement qui a été déposé pour les monuments historiques. Mais trop tard.
Il aurait sûrement mérité un aute sort.
Pour Oissel, c’est trop tard. Mais un débat du même type a lieu à Dieppe avec le Pont Colbert (tournant). C’est aussi un “Eiffel” qui mérite d’être conservé car il est lui aussi élément d’identité locale.
Contrairement au pont Colbert, le viaduc d’Oissel est réellement de facto Eiffel, car réalisé par l’un de ses “élèves”, Emile Nougier (ingénieur à la maison G. Eiffel durant 20 ans).
Mais celà ne change rien “au fond”.
La sauvegarde du patrimoine local est l’affaire de (presque) tous. Parce que sinon…
Il y a également la passerelle Eiffel de Bordeaux. Une association se bat pour la sauver et c’est “en bonne voie” :
leur blog.

Viaduc ou pas , je ne sais pas.
Ce que je sais c’est que le nouveau viaduc est totalement fermé sur les cotés. Finit de jouer avec les X du pont lorsque l’on passait à grande vitesse, l’arrière plan du paysage sautant comme un film ancien d’animation… Il reste le pont aux Anglais pour s’amuser.
Pis après ! Démontage du centre de rétention.

Quelles belles images, et c’est vrai que c’est un peu émouvant, cependant, hein, il faut bien améliorer notre environnement.
Cela dit, il y a quelque chose que je n’arrive pas à assimiler: c’est vraiement entre deux palissades métaliques vertes que le train va traverser la rivière, désormais? Comment les voyageurs pourront ils apercevoir le paysage?
